Case Study

Creating a Website That Makes It Easier to Learn About and Book an Event Venue

DaleyPWS designed and developed a dedicated website for The Stable Club in Saugerties, New York, giving prospective customers a clear way to learn about the venue, get answers to common questions, and request a date online.

The Challenge

The Stable Club is a private event venue located within the Cantine Veterans Memorial Complex in Saugerties. The space can host corporate events, family celebrations, networking events, holiday gatherings, community groups, and other private functions.

The venue needed its own website to show people what the space offered and make it easier for them to take the next step.

Choosing an event venue usually involves more than looking at a few photos. People want to know what kinds of events the space can accommodate, what amenities are available, what the rental policies are, whether catering or alcohol is allowed, whether the facility is accessible, and how to request a date.

The website needed to answer those questions clearly while also giving visitors a good sense of the space itself.

Making It Easier to Evaluate the Venue

We organized the site around the information prospective customers are most likely to need before contacting The Stable Club.

Photography plays an important role throughout the site, helping visitors picture their own event in the space. That is supported by practical information about event types, amenities, location, rental details, and other planning questions.

The website includes:

  • Venue and event photography
  • Types of events the space can accommodate
  • Amenities and location information
  • Rental pricing and deposit details
  • Catering and alcohol policies
  • Cleaning, restroom, and accessibility information
  • Testimonials
  • Frequently asked questions

Making this information easy to find helps people decide whether the venue fits their needs before they reach out. It also reduces the number of basic questions the venue team needs to answer individually.

Reservation links appear throughout the site so visitors do not have to search for the next step once they are ready to inquire.

Connecting Reservation Requests to Google Calendar

The website also needed to work with the way The Stable Club manages reservations.

Instead of relying on a general contact form, we created a reservation process that allows visitors to review availability and submit information about their event and preferred date.

The request is connected to Google Calendar, giving the venue team a familiar place to review and manage requested dates.

The process is straightforward:

Check availability > submit event details and preferred date > venue staff reviews the request and follows up

This keeps reservation information more organized and reduces the need to move details manually from emails, phone calls, or other messages into a separate scheduling system.

Designed to Work Well on Mobile

Many people research venues from their phones, so the site was built to be easy to use on smaller screens as well as desktop computers.

Pages are divided into clear sections, navigation is straightforward, photography remains prominent, and reservation links are easy to find and use.

The goal was simple: whether someone visited from a phone, tablet, or desktop computer, they should be able to understand the venue and request a date without unnecessary friction.

The Result

The Stable Club now has a dedicated website that gives the venue a clear online presence and makes it easier for prospective customers to learn about the space and request a reservation.

Visitors can see the venue, understand what it offers, get answers to common questions, and move directly into the reservation process.

For the venue team, the Google Calendar connection provides a more organized way to manage incoming date requests using a tool they already know.

The finished website does more than promote the space. It connects the public-facing site with an important part of the venue’s day-to-day operation: turning interest into actual reservation requests.
